Inattivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Campo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inattivo's Anthony Ceresoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Di Maria in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Donato Di Maria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Aurelio Passalacqua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inattivo and the Real Farmino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelio Passalacqua kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Colecchia in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Ceresoli saved Inattivo from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Fortunato Frezza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Sacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Pinti charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Pinti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Real Farmino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Pinti to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Inattivo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Adriano Tiberio hit a great ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Fortunato Frezza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Farmino's Filippo Sacchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fortunato Frezza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Filippo Sacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fortunato Frezza made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amedeo Colle during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 62 minutes into the game, Inattivo's Fortunato Frezza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filippo Sacchi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Andrea Campo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inattivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Campo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Sacchi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Ceresoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Colecchia in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Frezza in the 95th minute of play forced Real Farmino's goalkeeper Filippo Sacchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Farmino's Filippo Sacchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Frezza in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inattivo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Farmino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
