When Football Club Scintille's Alberto Battisti in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponte Ronca AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Football Club Scintille's Fortunato Palmucci got control of the ball when Arturo Matteucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Carbonetti came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Football Club Scintille's Alberto Battisti. But to his dismay, Alberto Battisti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alberto Battisti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Carbonetti having to interfere. When Franco Conforti fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ponte Ronca AFC's protests and gave Franco Conforti a yellow card for diving instead. Franco Conforti hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Camillo Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fabio Carbonetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Ponte Ronca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Giorgio. Camillo Lauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Carbonetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camillo Lauro ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Carbonetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Battisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Camillo Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabio Carbonetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Alberto Battisti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Football Club Scintille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Battisti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camillo Lauro to make the kick off. Camillo Lauro succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Fabio Carbonetti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camillo Lauro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. Alberto Battisti in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Carbonetti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 64th match minute, Ponte Ronca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Pollastrini to maneuver through the defense. Camillo Lauros short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Fabio Carbonetti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ponte Ronca AFC's Fabio Carbonetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Lauro in the 82nd minute of play. Fabio Carbonetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Battisti in the 85th minute. Alberto Battisti took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Carbonetti. Fabio Carbonetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Alberto Battisti struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Fabio Carbonetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football Club Scintille. If Camillo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Football Club Scintille's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
