He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Enzo Donatelli. When Demetrio Arcangeli fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taneto's protests and gave Demetrio Arcangeli a yellow card for diving instead. Demetrio Arcangeli hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Ferdinando Giancola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Mandelli in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enzo Donatelli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 92nd minute of the match Anfilogino Del Nero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Donatelli skillfully saved the ball. Alberigo Guidoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Donatelli having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AC Monteverde's zone, Ciro Mandelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Donatelli came out of the goal and Ciro Mandelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ciro Mandelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The AC Monteverde supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taneto's performance. The match ended with a win for Taneto.
