Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claudio Maiorano kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Maiorano in the 7th minute of play forced Castel Bolognese FC's goalkeeper Carter Cerri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Novaglie FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Di Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beppe Bottone. Castel Bolognese FC's Alberigo Bucciarelli got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edoardo Di Nardo made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Beppe Bottone sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Novaglie FC's goalkeeper Edoardo Di Nardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Novaglie FC's Edoardo Di Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Novaglie FC from getting a goal against them. Edoardo Di Nardo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Beppe Bottone sent off a good shot on target. If Beppe Bottone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edoardo Di Nardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Desiderio's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Ciccio Bulla came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Novaglie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciccio Bulla couldn't finish the play. After 39 minutes of play, Novaglie FC's Claudio Maiorano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carter Cerri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Castel Bolognese FC's zone, Ciccio Bulla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Cerri came out of the goal and Ciccio Bulla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee gave Novaglie FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlo Cavanna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Castel Bolognese FC's Carter Cerri. 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberigo Bucciarelli made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castel Bolognese FC's goalkeeper Carter Cerri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Novaglie FC booed when Castel Bolognese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Muciaccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristiano Muciaccia fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castel Bolognese FC's protests and gave Cristiano Muciaccia a yellow card for diving instead. Cristiano Muciaccia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Carter Cerri acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabio Milani. 72 minutes into the match, Novaglie FC's Claudio Maiorano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Cerri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Castel Bolognese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Maiorano came free, but Carter Cerri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Novaglie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Bernardi to maneuver through the defense. Carter Cerri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Maiorano in the 86th minute of the match. Edoardo Di Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Bottone in the 88th minute of play. Claudio Maiorano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Novaglie FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Novaglie FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
