Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Claudio Petito made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 played minutes Milano Lambronx got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Cinalli. After having played for 6 minutes, Claudio Petito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valmairone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Petito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Martini came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfonso Ascoli could save by the left post. After 13 played minutes Milano Lambronx got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Berardini. Milano Lambronx's Alfonso Ascoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Petito in the 16th minute of play. When Eraldo Martini came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Valmairone FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eraldo Martini couldn't finish the play. Fausto Pellecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Caroselli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Milano Lambronx's zone, Eraldo Martini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Ascoli came out of the goal and Eraldo Martini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eraldo Martini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Armin Di Biagio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Milano Lambronx's Alessio Caroselli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Pellecchia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Martini got free with Alfonso Ascoli in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes Milano Lambronx's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristoforo Volponi who took care of the corner kick. Cristoforo Volponi made a great header on Valmairone FC's corner, it was just that Milano Lambronx's Alfonso Ascoli managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Petito in the 42nd minute of play forced Milano Lambronx's goalkeeper Alfonso Ascoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alessio Caroselli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Claudio Petito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Claudio Petito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eraldo Martini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Ascoli having to interfere. If Claudio Petito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Ascoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Petito, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fausto Pellecchia was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Alessio Caroselli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessio Caroselli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After having played for 69 minutes, Eraldo Martini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bianco Del Duca during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Milano Lambronx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Del Duca to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Eraldo Martini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valmairone FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Martini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Ascoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Ascoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Petito in the 74th minute of the match. Cristoforo Volponi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Ascoli. Milano Lambronx's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfonso Ascoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Aureli, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Milano Lambronx's Alessio Caroselli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Pellecchia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armin Di Biagio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Pellecchia having to interfere. Armin Di Biagio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Ascoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Petito in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Milano Lambronx had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
