Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ennio Pantalone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Cerri having to interfere. Carlo Mancini charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlo Mancini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Monte Donato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Mancini to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Cerri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Coco in the 6th minute of play. Attilio Coviello kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Avesa AFC's goalkeeper Alfredo Giordano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Prato. After some careless play in the Monte Donato defense, Anthony Coco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Cerri. The Monte Donato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Cerri should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Anthony Coco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avesa AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Franco Fantasia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Cerri having to interfere. A collision led to Monte Donato getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Domenico Prato hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Anthony Coco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Monte Donato's Eugenio Cerri. Eugenio Cerri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 played minutes Avesa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Pari. Eugenio Cerri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Fantasia in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Donato's zone, Franco Fantasia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Cerri came out of the goal and Franco Fantasia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Avesa AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony Coco to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55th play minutes Fortunato Galli shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Eugenio Cerri and just under the crossbar into goal. Anthony Coco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eugenio Cerri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avesa AFC's Fortunato Galli got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Monte Donato got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Scafati. 88 minutes into the game, Attilio Coviello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avesa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Donato the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Avesa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Coviello to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Anthony Coco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Franco Fantasia came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Avesa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Fantasia couldn't finish the play. Avesa AFC played a much better game than Monte Donato and deserved their victory. The Monte Donato players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
