The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes lozzese94 got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Borel. In the 6thth minute of the game Cristiano Brás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monte Donato's Eugenio Cerri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Monte Donato's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Brás came free, but Eugenio Cerri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Brás in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Cerri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alex Locatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Cerri having to interfere. Domenico Prato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Soccio having to interfere. Eugenio Cerri came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by lozzese94's Cristiano Brás. But to his dismay, Cristiano Brás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ciro Soccio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Prato in the 28th minute. Cristiano Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Cerri having to interfere. Cesare Di Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eugenio Cerri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Di Lillo in the 44th minute of play forced lozzese94's goalkeeper Ciro Soccio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Brás made a kick off. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for lozzese94. Alex Locatelli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eugenio Cerri. 0-2. Ciro Soccio came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Donato's Elia Di Lillo. But to his dismay, Elia Di Lillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ciro Soccio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Prato, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Emilio Sansoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Soccio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. lozzese94's Ciro Soccio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Prato in the 64th minute of play. Cristiano Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Domenico Prato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Soccio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Scatena hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ciro Soccio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Marinacci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Soccio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Prato, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Cristiano Brás made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Cerri. Monte Donato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After having played for 81 minutes, Cristiano Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lozzese94's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Cerri having to interfere. In the 90th minute Domenico Prato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Soccio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The lozzese94 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing lozzese94 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
