The tension between the SANMARINO and the AVALON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SANMARINO's Ferdinando De Gregorio got a free kick in the 5th minute. 5 minutes into the match, AVALON FC's Carlo Cardillo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 9 minutes into the match, SANMARINO's Antonio Facchini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elia Vitucci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Luzi got free with Emiliano Spagnuolo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antonio Facchini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Luzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emiliano Spagnuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Amos Salomone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Spagnuolo. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Luzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eraldo Salerno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Vitucci having to interfere. Elia Vitucci made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Antonio Facchini sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, AVALON FC's Amos Salomone got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Elia Vitucci was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Antonio Facchini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Facchini really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 84th minute, Carter Iezzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amos Salomone during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antonio Facchinis short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Elia Vitucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 90 played minutes AVALON FC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Salomone. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Facchini got free with Elia Vitucci in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When SANMARINO's Carter Iezzi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AVALON FC's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the SANMARINO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AVALON FC.
