Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anfilogino Ballerini got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Arrigo Ruzzi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Franco Danza fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buso FC's protests and gave Franco Danza a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Casticciano FC's Edoardo Volta tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eraldo Alati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anfilogino Ballerini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Di Mattia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Donato Gianfrancesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Gianfrancesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Foni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Amedeo Ciaccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Foni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Alati who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Comunardo Di Mattia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amedeo Ciaccia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elia Foni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Amedeo Ciaccia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amedeo Ciaccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Foni having to interfere. Eraldo Alati struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Comunardo Di Mattia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casticciano FC. The supporters of Casticciano FC booed when Buso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Egidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eraldo Alati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Di Mattia having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amedeo Ciaccia to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Eraldo Alati notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Buso FC's Comunardo Di Mattia. Comunardo Di Mattia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casticciano FC's Elia Foni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Casticciano FC from getting a goal against them. Elia Foni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Ciaccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Donato Gianfrancesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Casticciano FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Anfilogino Ballerini hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Amedeo Ciaccia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Ciaccia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Alati struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Comunardo Di Mattia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casticciano FC. After having played for 79 minutes, Donato Gianfrancesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Gianfrancesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elia Foni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Ciaccia in the 95th minute of the match. Donato Gianfrancesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
