Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carmine Lemme started the match with the kick off. Ennio Di Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Vittorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Alessandro Marcantonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Lemme in the 6th minute of play. Achille Bellucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Marcantonio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Savona's Dave Vittorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ennio Di Clemente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessandro Marcantonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Paraíba in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Bruno Tornese got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ennio Di Clemente was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 20 minutes of play, U.S.SASSUOLO's Hamílton Abraão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Marcantonio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ennio Di Clemente was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Dave Vittorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dave Vittorio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 30th minute, Hamílton Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro Marcantonio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Dorival Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Savona's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Lemme came free, but Alessandro Marcantonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When U.S.SASSUOLO's Carmine Lemme in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The U.S.SASSUOLO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Vittorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Achille Bellucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carmine Lemme came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the U.S.SASSUOLO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Lemme couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Enrico Bernardini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Savona and the U.S.SASSUOLO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of U.S.SASSUOLO booed when Savona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Bernardini didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Achille Bellucci came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the U.S.SASSUOLO fans jumped to their feet. Dorival Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alessandro Marcantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Vittorio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carmine Lemme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Marcantonio was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Savona's goalkeeper Alessandro Marcantonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamílton Abraão. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Carmine Lemme took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Alessandro Marcantonio to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Tornese in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ennio Di Clemente saved U.S.SASSUOLO from getting behind. Carmine Lemme in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alessandro Marcantonio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes into the match, Hamílton Abraão notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Savona's Alessandro Marcantonio. Alessandro Marcantonio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorival Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Savona fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U.S.SASSUOLO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
