After having played for 6 minutes, Emiliano Palmieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 17th match minute, Savona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Salvagnin to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Boratella FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Mazza came free, but Domenico Ricci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Vittorio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Ricci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Palmieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Serantoni made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Savona's zone, Emiliano Palmieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
