Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gambarare's Carter Bisegna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Salvadore in the 3rd minute of play forced Mossa's goalkeeper Arturo Nardone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Carter Bisegna made a precise shot to the right of Arturo Nardone. Mossa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Fausto Salvadore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gambarare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 12 played minutes Gambarare got a freekick which was hit by Carter Bisegna. Corrado Pugliese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bertolini having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mossa defense, Fausto Salvadore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Nardone. The Mossa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Nardone should have stopped the shot. If Carter Bisegna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Christian Zollino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mossa's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Zollino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Bertolini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Pugliese's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Bertolini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Arturo Nardone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Bisegna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mossa's zone, Fausto Salvadore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Nardone came out of the goal and Fausto Salvadore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Mossa's Corrado Pugliese sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Bertolini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 43 minutes, Alberigo Ragusa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gambarare and the Mossa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th play minute Corrado Pugliese came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armando Bertolini. 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Zollino to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mossa's goalkeeper Arturo Nardone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Salvadore. Carter Bisegna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Gambarare's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Pugliese came free, but Armando Bertolini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Zollino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Armando Bertolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter Bisegna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Nardone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Bisegna in the 72nd minute of the match. If Christian Zollino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Carter Bisegna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carter Bisegna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arturo Nardone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Bertolini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Zollino went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Gambarare players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
