Alexander Caretti started the match with the kick off. Armando Gaudino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Polo. Pergola Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Gambarare's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Di Maio came free, but Armando Bertolini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Bertolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Caretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ciccio Mazzone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Di Maio in the 30th minute of play forced Gambarare's goalkeeper Armando Bertolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Bisegna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Fausto Pavia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pergola Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gambarare the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Caretti in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bertolini saved Gambarare from getting behind. Felice Di Maio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Armando Bertolini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pergola Fc. Alberto De Meis succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1.

Pergola Fc's Felice Di Maio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Gaudino hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Alvaro Bartolomucci might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Bertolini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Bartolomucci ran back to his position shaking his head. Gambarare's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Alexander Caretti scored to the left of an out of position Armando Bertolini, making the score, 2-2. When Felice Di Maio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pergola Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Di Maio couldn't finish the play. With his leg Armando Bertolini managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Pergola Fc's Alexander Caretti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felice Di Maio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bertolini having to interfere. In the 81st minute Alberigo Ragusa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Gambarare's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Romino came free, but Armando Bertolini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Armando Bertolini managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Pergola Fc's Alexander Caretti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felice Di Maio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Armando Bertolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Pinti's late challenge caught a Gambarare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrea Pinti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pergola Fc's Andrea Pinti got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pergola Fc players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
