The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Prandini got free with Attilio Cericola in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18th play minutes Flavio Prandini shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Attilio Cericola and just under the crossbar into goal. Attilio Cericola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Pagliarini's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Pagliarini in the 36th minute of play forced Sporting Labronica's goalkeeper Attilio Cericola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Prandini got free with Attilio Cericola in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Domenico Pagliarini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alma Juventus Fano's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Pagliarini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Cericola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Cosimo Consalvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Piccirilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosimo Consalvi made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Pagliarini in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attilio Cericola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Flavio Prandini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sporting Labronica's Attilio Cericola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Biagetti in the 62nd minute of play. With 63 minutes on the clock, Ferruccio Sebastiani commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Labronica! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Alma Juventus Fano. Alfonso Pavia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Attilio Cericola. 4-0. In the 69th minute, Flavio Prandini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alma Juventus Fano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Domenico Pagliarini kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Domenico Pagliarini took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attilio Cericola. Attilio Cericola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. A collision led to Alma Juventus Fano getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Daniele Biagetti hit a great ball. Attilio Cericola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Pagliarini, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Alma Juventus Fano booed when Sporting Labronica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Di Piazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Pagliarini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Attilio Cericola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Di Piazza kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Prandini in the 97th minute of play forced Sporting Labronica's goalkeeper Attilio Cericola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Cericola came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Alma Juventus Fano's Domenico Pagliarini. But to his dismay, Domenico Pagliarini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Alma Juventus Fano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
