In the 24th minute, Franco Fallito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Alex Rallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Lucchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Villa Viani's Alfonso Aloisi in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CONTRA's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Ennio Torri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Viani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CONTRA the free kick. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa Viani! After 45 played minutes Villa Viani got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Albani. In the 47th minute, Anthony Zaccardi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Zaccardi made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Guarisi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Villa Viani's Ferruccio Grilli. Ferruccio Grilli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute, Alex Rallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Anthony Zaccardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferruccio Grilli was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Di Tommaso during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Franco Di Tommaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Guarisi charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinando Guarisi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filippo Lucchetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Rallo in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Aloisi got free with Filippo Lucchetti in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franco Di Tommaso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Franco Fallito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Villa Viani's Franco Di Tommaso got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Fallito in the 87th minute of play forced Villa Viani's goalkeeper Ferruccio Grilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Anthony Zaccardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franco Fallito in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferruccio Grilli saved Villa Viani from getting behind. CONTRA's Franco Fallito got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CONTRA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
