Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Davide Zoff started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes, Seggiano AFC's Emanuele Giolo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesare Santini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seggiano AFC reached it. When Ermanno Di Falco fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seggiano AFC's protests and gave Ermanno Di Falco a yellow card for diving instead. When Caronno Pertusella's Fausto De Angelis in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seggiano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Davide Zoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Anfilogino Coccolone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesare Santini was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Anfilogino Coccolone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Davide Zoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seggiano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Zoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesare Santini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Zoff in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Seggiano AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ermanno Di Falco hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Seggiano AFC's Anfilogino Coccolone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesare Santini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferruccio Micarelli during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferruccio Micarelli kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ferruccio Micarelli got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Caronno Pertusella booed when Seggiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Micarelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Mammarella spun around in front of the goal 46 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Seggiano AFC's goal. After 48 played minutes Fausto De Angelis rounded Seggiano AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto De Angelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciccio Mammarella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Fedele Giocondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
