Fabrizio De Lucia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Antonello Fino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio's Carmine Giovannelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Zoff in the 10th minute of play. Alessio Stella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Micarelli hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Aurelio Marcelli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Caio getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fabrizio De Lucia hit a great ball. Caio's Carmine Giovannelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Caio from getting a goal against them. In the 30th match minute, Caio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Fata to maneuver through the defense. Seggiano AFC's Anfilogino Coccolone got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, Caio's Alessio Stella made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonello Fino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonello Fino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio De Lucia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Seggiano AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caio were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davide Zoff to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonello Fino made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fabrizio De Lucia sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Caio getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alfonso Zaino hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Alessio Stella reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonello Fino. The goal made the score 0-3. Felice Ruzzi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Seggiano AFC's Anfilogino Coccolone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carmine Giovannelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Fabrizio De Lucia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seggiano AFC's Antonello Fino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Stella in the 88th minute of play. The Caio players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
