In the 4th minute, Enzo Mandelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edoardo Del Vecchio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Mandelli in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edoardo Del Vecchio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Enzo Mandelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Enzo Mandelli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Borgo Grappa AFC's Edoardo Del Vecchio. Edoardo Del Vecchio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cangia AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Christian Bianchini hit a great ball. Enzo Mandelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Del Vecchio having to interfere. Eraldo Minicucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Del Vecchio having to interfere. Enzo Mandelli struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Edoardo Del Vecchio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangia AFC. Cangia AFC's Christian Beattie got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Cangia AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Enzo Mandelli made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Edoardo Del Vecchio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Enzo Mandellis short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Edoardo Del Vecchio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eraldo Minicucci got free with Edoardo Del Vecchio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Mandelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edoardo Del Vecchio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Fausto Villani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Fortunato Tonon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangia AFC and the Borgo Grappa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Fortunato Tonon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Minicucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Edoardo Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Enzo Mandelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cangia AFC's Enzo Mandelli in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borgo Grappa AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Edoardo Del Vecchio made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Eraldo Minicucci sent off a good shot on target. Borgo Grappa AFC's Fausto Villani got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Cangia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Villani came free, but Flavio Natale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Minicucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Del Vecchio having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Cangia AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borgo Grappa AFC.
