In the 3rd minute, Florian Nola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Manzoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ferruccio Di Meo's late challenge caught a U.S. Castelfrettese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferruccio Di Meo helped the player get up and apologised. 6 minutes into the match, Lughetto's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Nola came free, but Angelo Manzoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberigo Scannella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Lughetto got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Di Felice. Alberigo Scannella kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, U.S. Castelfrettese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Minicucci to maneuver through the defense. Florian Nola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Angelo Manzoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Lughetto's Alberigo Scannella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Grimaldi. Elia Grimaldi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Alessio Baresi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elia Grimaldi. U.S. Castelfrettese's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alfredo Orrore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lughetto's Angelo Manzoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elia Grimaldi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberigo Scannella showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Di Pietro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elia Grimaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Di Meo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ferruccio Di Meo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Grimaldi having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Lughetto's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Di Pietro came free, but Angelo Manzoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Florian Nola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.S. Castelfrettese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Nola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Concetto Di Pietro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Angelo Manzoli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elia Grimaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Scannella, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Elia Grimaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Di Meo in the 86th minute of play. The Lughetto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U.S. Castelfrettese were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
