Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ciccio Cirelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in DdC's zone, Bernardo Garofoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Valerio came out of the goal and Bernardo Garofoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenico Napoleoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Andreola having to interfere. In the 16th minute Domenico Napoleoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Andreola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When DdC's Corrado Ali in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cantalupo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in DdC's zone, Alessio Piccinini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulvio Valerio came out of the goal and Alessio Piccinini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Garofoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fulvio Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fortunato Albertini fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DdC's protests and gave Fortunato Albertini a yellow card for diving instead. Fulvio Valerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Piccinini in the 26th minute of play. If Corrado Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulvio Valerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Garofoli in the 31st minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Alessio Piccinini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantalupo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Piccinini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Pan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Alessio Piccinini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Valerio having to interfere. Fortunato Albertini got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 41 played minutes DdC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Albertini. DdC's Fulvio Valerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save DdC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato De Santis during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fortunato De Santis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Cantalupo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Giordano to maneuver through the defense. Cantalupo FC's Emanuele Andreola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Cantalupo FC from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Garofoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Cantalupo FC were awarded a corner. Enrico Salerno went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cantalupo FC's Anselmo Restaino to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulvio Valerio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bernardo Garofoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Valerio having to interfere. Corrado Ali made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 78thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Emanuele Andreola would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Emanuele Andreola made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Corrado Ali sent off a good shot on target. Corrado Ali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Emanuele Andreola made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Cantalupo FC's Alessio Piccinini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulvio Valerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alessio Piccinini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DdC's Fulvio Valerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Piccinini in the 94th minute of play.
