Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) San Bernardo AFC's Augusto Ferretti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Sabatino struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Fausto Cerasoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cella AFC. In the 16thth minute of the game Filippo Franceschelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cella AFC's Ciro Ursini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Amerigo Di Cicco fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cella AFC's protests and gave Amerigo Di Cicco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cella AFC's Amerigo Di Cicco got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ciro Ursini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Ferretti went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Sabatino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Cerasoli having to make a save. Fausto Cerasoli was a little too slow when Alberto Felicetti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1.

After 59 played minutes San Bernardo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Ferretti. 62 minutes into the match, Amerigo Di Cicco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of San Bernardo AFC's Fausto Cerasoli. Fausto Cerasoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute of the match Armin Scibilia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Cerasoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Flavio Sabatino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cella AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Sabatino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Cerasoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Fortuna kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes San Bernardo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Iacovone. Flavio Sabatino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Cerasoli having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, San Bernardo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Demaria to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Flavio Sabatino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cella AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Sabatino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Cerasoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Felicetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Sabatino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Alberto Felicetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Felicetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. San Bernardo AFC's Alberigo Iacovone got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Cella AFC were the better team. Cella AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
