A nice corner shot did that Alvaro Perna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ciro Ursini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Sborricchio fc booed when Cella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Di Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlo Falcone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Sborricchio fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Liberti to maneuver through the defense. Alex Benedetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Felicetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Liberti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sborricchio fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cella AFC the free kick. Cristoforo Liberti kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Flavio Sabatino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Benedetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Felicetti in the 28th minute of play forced Sborricchio fc's goalkeeper Alex Benedetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Di Cicco scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Benedetti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciro Ursini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Falcone in the 37th minute of play. Ciro Ursini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo Barbato went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 44 minutes, Alvaro Perna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sborricchio fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Perna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Benedetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Felicetti in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alvaro Perna made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sborricchio fc's goalkeeper Alex Benedetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Sabatino. Amerigo Di Cicco hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Flavio Perna fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sborricchio fc's protests and gave Flavio Perna a yellow card for diving instead. Flavio Perna hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Alex Benedetti made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Amos Di Francesco sent off a good shot on target. Enrico Costa's late challenge caught a Cella AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Sborricchio fc's Camillo Barbato, in the 77th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sborricchio fc. Alex Benedetti made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Flavio Sabatino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Di Francesco in the 82nd minute of play forced Sborricchio fc's goalkeeper Alex Benedetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sborricchio fc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Enrico Costa hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Alvaro Perna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Ursini. Cella AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Perna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
