The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Farneto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Carozza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Iovine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beppe Boldrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Bani kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Carter Carozza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emiliano Iovine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Carozza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, Farneto AFC's Beppe Boldrini made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Iovine was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Maris's zone, Carter Carozza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Iovine came out of the goal and Carter Carozza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beppe Boldrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Iovine having to interfere. Augusto Bardella kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Emiliano Iovine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Carozza in the 29th minute of play. If Carter Carozza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Bani kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Emiliano Iovine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Carozza in the 38th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Dino Cera shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The wind increased when Attilio Flocco made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Farneto AFC booed when Maris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Bani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Attilio Flocco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beppe Boldrini during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emiliano Iovine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Carozza in the 67th minute of play. When the match was over Farneto AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maris throughout the match.
