Corrado Hell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ettore Frezza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC New Ancona's zone, Corrado Hell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Frezza came out of the goal and Corrado Hell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC New Ancona's Ettore Frezza got control of the ball when Corrado Hell tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th match minute, FC New Ancona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Pilla to maneuver through the defense. Corrado Hell struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ettore Frezza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASROMA1927. After 21 played minutes FC New Ancona got a freekick which was hit by Donato De Lorenzi. When Dennis Di Lello fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC New Ancona's protests and gave Dennis Di Lello a yellow card for diving instead. Bobby Portway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessio Piano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Pilla went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FC New Ancona's zone, Corrado Hell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Frezza came out of the goal and Corrado Hell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camillo Del Pizzo's late challenge caught a FC New Ancona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Del Pizzo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, ASROMA1927 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Del Pizzo to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Corrado Hell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ettore Frezza. Corrado Hell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 46th minute, Corrado Hell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato De Lorenzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corrado Hell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC New Ancona's Ettore Frezza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Hell in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Bobby Portway put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ettore Frezza. After a rather tough play, ASROMA1927's Camillo Del Pizzo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Bobby Portway made a precise shot to the right of Ettore Frezza. FC New Ancona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 69 minutes, Bobby Portway made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC New Ancona's Ettore Frezza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ASROMA1927 fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when ASROMA1927's Bobby Portway looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Biagio Pantalone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ettore Frezza. FC New Ancona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dennis Di Lello hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When ASROMA1927's Bobby Portway in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC New Ancona's goalie prevented a goal. Ettore Frezza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Portway, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes FC New Ancona got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Di Lello. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ASROMA1927 had played much better football throughout.
