Corrado Palone ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Marhans's Corrado Palone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Pani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Marhans booed when Thousand Sunny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Celli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marhans's Eugenio Lozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Celli in the 16th minute of play. Thousand Sunny's Davide Pani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Palone in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Alberto Sergi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corrado Palone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Davide Pani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corrado Palone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Corrado Palone came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Marhans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corrado Palone couldn't finish the play. If Flavio Monticelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flavio Monticelli came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Marhans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Monticelli couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes of play, Thousand Sunny's Armin Bonsignore made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Lozzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th match minute, Thousand Sunny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Romagnoli to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes, Marhans's Corrado Palone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davide Pani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marhans reached it. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thousand Sunny's goalkeeper Davide Pani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Dennis Alfonsi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Marhans's Attilio Lupi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Flavio Monticelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Thousand Sunny booed when Marhans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Monticelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Beppe Ferretti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marhans's supporters rose to their feet, but Beppe Ferretti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Pani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Flavio Monticelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes in the game, Emanuele Celli dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Flavio Monticelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Palone received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davide Pani came out and tried to block the shot, but Corrado Palone slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Marhans could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Thousand Sunny throughout the match.
