The audience was convinced that Achille Campoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demetrio Suriani was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Christian Trotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Carlo Zaccardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Suriani having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achille Campoli got free with Demetrio Suriani in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Attilio Musacchio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Musacchio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Attilio Musacchio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Demetrio Suriani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Campoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
