Demetrio Suriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amerigo Di Cicco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demetrio Suriani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Marchegiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Traversara's goalkeeper Demetrio Suriani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Di Cicco. In the 26th minute, Christian Trotta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traversara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. But to his dismay, Dennis Marchegiani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Demetrio Suriani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Marchegiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demetrio Suriani made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Amerigo Di Cicco sent off a good shot on target. Domenico Luzi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dennis Marchegiani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demetrio Suriani having to make a save. Demetrio Suriani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Marchegiani in the 43rd minute of the match. Christian Trotta struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fulvio Ronconi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Traversara. Enzo Frabetti was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
