The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Ciro Ferretti made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Clemente. Luvinate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Cascina Grossa FC's Edoardo Alfieri in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fabio Clemente guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ciro Ferretti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Clemente having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Luvinate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Ottavi to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Ciro Ferretti notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Luvinate's Fabio Clemente. Fabio Clemente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ciro Ferretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cascina Grossa FC's Ciro Ferretti got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Flavio Valletta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Clemente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Luvinate's goalkeeper Fabio Clemente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Ferretti. Ermanno Daniele's late challenge caught a Cascina Grossa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermanno Daniele helped the player get up and apologised. Ermanno Daniele hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Edoardo Alfieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Ferretti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Fabio Clemente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Edoardo Alfieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cascina Grossa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavio Valletta in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Cascina Grossa FC's Edoardo Alfieri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Luvinate's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Alfieri came free, but Fabio Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amedeo Torri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Arturo Battisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Alfieri was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Anfilogino Ali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Di Iorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo Battisti made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Beppe Di Iorio sent off a good shot on target. Amedeo Torri struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Arturo Battisti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luvinate. Fabio Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Ferretti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Ferretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ciro Ferretti struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fabio Clemente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascina Grossa FC. Fabio Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Alfieri in the 78th minute of the match. Ciro Ferretti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Torri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Clemente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edoardo Alfieri's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Edoardo Alfieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fabio Clemente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arturo Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Torri in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cascina Grossa FC had played much better football throughout.
