If Edoardo Alfieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Edoardo Alfieri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milano FC's Antonio Magliocco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Edoardo Alfieri made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Milano FC's Antonio Magliocco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciro Ferretti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Antonio Magliocco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberigo Lauria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Battisti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
