The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Di Cesare kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Andrea Bardella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Proietto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuele Proietto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Toto went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Di Cesare struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Angelo Castellini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purlilium FC. Angelo Castellini was a little too slow when Flavio Di Cesare got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Camillo De Laurentiis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo De Laurentiis in the 28th minute of play forced Purlilium FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Proietto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Real San Zeno booed when Purlilium FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Trevisani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Camillo De Laurentiis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real San Zeno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo De Laurentiis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes, Demetrio Palomba made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real San Zeno's Angelo Castellini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Purlilium FC's Flavio Di Cesare quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emiliano Tammaro, made in the 68th minute of the game. If Demetrio Palomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Purlilium FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Cameli to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Trevisani kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Real San Zeno's Angelo Castellini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Palomba in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Purlilium FC's Demetrio Palomba made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Castellini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demetrio Palomba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Castellini having to interfere. Real San Zeno's Angelo Castellini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Palomba in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Donato Rullo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Demetrio Palomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Purlilium FC were the better team. Purlilium FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
