Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciccio Masetti started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Atletico Montello's Mauro Duardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edoardo Banana. Edoardo Banana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francesco Meo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edoardo Banana saved Mariano Comense from getting behind. Florian Padula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Masetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Eugenio Pasin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Padula skillfully saved the ball. In the 26th minute, Alessandro Oddi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Comense's Edoardo Banana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Meo in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Diego Natale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariano Comense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Montello the free kick. Diego Natale hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Francesco Meo in the 31st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Edoardo Banana kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 35 minutes into the game, Atletico Montello's Mauro Duardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Banana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Francesco Meo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Edoardo Banana to make any attempt to save it. When Enzo Guarrera fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mariano Comense's protests and gave Enzo Guarrera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Mariano Comense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Guarrera to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Francesco Meo made the kick off in the second half. When Mauro Duardo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Atletico Montello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Duardo couldn't finish the play. Florian Padula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Profeta in the 57th minute. Enzo Guarrera got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 59 played minutes Mariano Comense got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Guarrera. If Mauro Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Mauro Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Banana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Mauro Duardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariano Comense's Edoardo Banana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edoardo Banana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Duardo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Ernesto Candeloro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79thth minute of the game Mauro Duardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariano Comense's Edoardo Banana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francesco Meo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Edoardo Banana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico Montello booed when Mariano Comense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Profeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Mauro Duardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Edoardo Banana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atletico Montello made a substitution. Ferruccio Di Loreto replaced Francesco Meo. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Mariano Comense:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico Montello:s goal. In the 96th minute, Mauro Duardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Montello fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. There was no doubt that Atletico Montello were the better team. Atletico Montello's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
