A collision led to Imolese 1919 getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ercole Tarulli hit a great ball. Flavio Di Persio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Passo Oscuro FC's Andrea Nicolai in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imolese 1919's goalie prevented a goal. Flavio Di Persio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Combi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Andrea Nicolai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Cardillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Ermanno Abete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Passo Oscuro FC's Claudio Arcari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosimo Moschetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrea Nicolai in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Cardillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrea Nicolai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Andrea Nicolai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander Cardillo. Andrea Nicolai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 36th minute Ermanno Abete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Arcari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Cardillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Nicolai in the 41st minute of play. Dennis Bearzot kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosimo Moschetta to make the kick off. Flavio Di Persio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Cardillo having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Fausto Combi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imolese 1919 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The Passo Oscuro FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Passo Oscuro FC's Andrea Nicolai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 65th minute, Cosimo Moschetta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudio Arcari, passed just outside the right post. Alexander Cardillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Nicolai, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, Imolese 1919 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Tarulli to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Andrea Nicolai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passo Oscuro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Nicolai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Fausto Combi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Andrea Nicolai, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alexander Cardillo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Andrea Nicolai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Cardillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Di Persio in the 86th minute of play. 3-1 became the score in the 88th minute when Flavio Di Persio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Passo Oscuro FC's Flavio Di Persio made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Cardillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Passo Oscuro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
