Arturo Castelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Nero in the 32nd minute of play. Diego Cavaliere's late challenge caught a Torrione Rossignoli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Cavaliere helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Diego Cavaliere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Altobelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, San Zaccaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Facchini to maneuver through the defense.
