After a rather tough play, Chirignago FC's Carmine Flammini got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes, a.c.milan's Beppe Di Lorenzo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elia Di Fonzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in a.c.milan reached it. In the 12th minute Carter Iannone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Papa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Papa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carter Iannone went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aldo Andreoli struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Elia Di Fonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for a.c.milan. Achille Violento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Elia Di Fonzo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Chirignago FC's Alex Romino got a free kick in the 25th minute. Amerigo Liberati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achille Violento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Di Fonzo having to interfere. When Aldo Andreoli came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the a.c.milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Andreoli couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Ciccio Delle Donne suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Carmine Flammini's late challenge caught a a.c.milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Flammini helped the player get up and apologised. Carmine Flammini kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Carter Iannone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chirignago FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Iannone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Papa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amerigo Liberati was the one to do the kick off. a.c.milan's Francesco Papa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Liberati in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, a.c.milan's Franco Del Prete got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Amerigo Liberati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of a.c.milan booed when Chirignago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Flammini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francesco Papa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Liberati in the 88th minute of the match. Carter Iannone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chirignago FC's zone, Achille Violento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elia Di Fonzo came out of the goal and Achille Violento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chirignago FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over a.c.milan's much stronger midfield.
