Rebbio AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuele Spano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ciccio Alfani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fedele Bracco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Alessio Evangelista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgaretto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebbio AFC the free kick. After 29 played minutes Borgaretto got a freekick which was hit by Amos Capobianco. 30 minutes into the match, Rebbio AFC's Federico Fantozzi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Borgaretto booed when Rebbio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Fantozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Spinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

Carmine Gianfrancesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alessandro Mattioli came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Borgaretto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Mattioli couldn't finish the play. Borgaretto's Fedele Bracco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Cavallo in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Ciccio Alfani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Bracco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Borgaretto getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Amos Capobianco hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Rebbio AFC's Carmine Gianfrancesco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fedele Bracco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. If Alessandro Mattioli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fedele Bracco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Alfani, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Rebbio AFC were the better team. Rebbio AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
