In the 4th match minute, Picarelli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Troilo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Fulgenzi in the 7th minute of play forced Picarelli's goalkeeper Enzo Granato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Serantoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domenico Selvaggi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gerola in the 30th minute of play forced Cavazzoli's goalkeeper Domenico Selvaggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Alfredo Gerola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavazzoli's goalkeeper Domenico Selvaggi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domenico Selvaggi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carter Serantoni in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Cavazzoli defense, Carter Serantoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domenico Selvaggi. The Cavazzoli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenico Selvaggi should have stopped the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Fulgenzi made a kick off. Domenico Selvaggi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Gerola in the 57th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Carter Serantoni notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cavazzoli's Domenico Selvaggi. Domenico Selvaggi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlo Di Croce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Enzo Granato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristiano Fulgenzi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cavazzoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Fulgenzi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Picarelli's zone, Cristiano Fulgenzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Granato came out of the goal and Cristiano Fulgenzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
