Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adriano Latini got the match started through his kick off. When Ferruccio Barbato came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Montorsoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Barbato couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Demetrio Miccio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Latini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Adriano Latini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montorsoli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Monopoli the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Montorsoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Latini to maneuver through the defense. Donato Cattaneo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Latini in the 45th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Comunardo Cusumano during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Comunardo Cusumano hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Edoardo Finocchi made the kick off in the second half. Adriano Latini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Atletico Monopoli got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Necdet İmren. After having played for 53 minutes, Ferruccio Barbato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montorsoli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Barbato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florian Furia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Miccio in the 56th minute of the match. Edoardo Finocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Furia having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico Monopoli booed when Montorsoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Latini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Barbato charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Barbato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Ferruccio Barbato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Latini was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 77th match minute, Montorsoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Latini to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Montorsoli's Attilio Balestra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Cattaneo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferruccio Barbato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Cattaneo having to interfere. Frank Persichetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Florian Furia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filippo Loiacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montorsoli's Ferruccio Barbato got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Ferruccio Barbato off the ground. The Atletico Monopoli players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Montorsoli from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
