Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabrizio Marsili took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of San Donino booed when Montorsoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Di Piazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare Angelini hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Achille Caroli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Florian Furia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Latini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Petruzzi having to interfere. Antonio Petruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Latini in the 28th minute of the match. Florian Furia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Achille Caroli in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Ferruccio Barbato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montorsoli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Achille Caroli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Furia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Adriano Latini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Petruzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Barbato in the 47th minute of play. Beppe Di Cintio's late challenge caught a Montorsoli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beppe Di Cintio helped the player get up and apologised. Beppe Di Cintio kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Latini to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Beppe Di Cintio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Furia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Adriano Latini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Barbato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Antonio Petruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Fabio Polimeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio Marsili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Furia having to interfere. When Ferruccio Barbato came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Montorsoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Barbato couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes of play, Montorsoli's Ferruccio Barbato made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Petruzzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Ferruccio Barbato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montorsoli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Fabio Polimeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
