Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edoardo Finocchi started the match with the kick off. If Demetrio Miccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Cattaneo was a little too slow when Achille Caroli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Monopoli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for San Donino. Cesare Angelini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donato Cattaneo. 2-0. Achille Caroli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Donato Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes San Donino got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Lopez. Demetrio Miccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Petruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabrizio Marsili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Miccio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Antonio Petruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Edoardo Finocchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Demetrio Miccio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Atletico Monopoli's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Marsili came free, but Donato Cattaneo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Donino's zone, Edoardo Finocchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Petruzzi came out of the goal and Edoardo Finocchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edoardo Finocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Petruzzi having to interfere. After 85 played minutes, San Donino's Cesare Angelini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Cattaneo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Donino reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Necdet İmren got free with Antonio Petruzzi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edoardo Finocchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Antonio Petruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletico Monopoli's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because San Donino had won, even though Atletico Monopoli had held more of the ball.
