Amerigo Di Prinzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Di Ianni went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eugenio Papa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Sturla's Alvaro Coviello. But to his dismay, Alvaro Coviello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 33rd minute Alvaro Coviello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Papa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabio Di Ianni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amerigo Di Prinzio was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Capalle's Eugenio Papa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Capalle from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, Sturla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Polmone to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Di Ianni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Achille Minicucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Amerigo Di Prinzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Fabio Di Ianni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Sturla got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Polmone. Fabio Di Ianni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Davide Ippoliti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amerigo Di Prinzio having to make a save. A collision led to Sturla getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bernardo Polmone hit a great ball. Sturla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
