Ferdinando Petrella started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Petrella in the 5th minute of play forced Pilastrello AFC's goalkeeper Anselmo Eleuteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pilastrello AFC booed when Rotta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Mancinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Guidone was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elia Iannotti. Anselmo Eleuteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Petrella, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Alfredo Anelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Eleuteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Anelli in the 25th minute of the match. When Alfredo Anelli came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Rotta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Anelli couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Davide Di Croce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilastrello AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rotta the free kick. Alessandro Muto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rotta getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damiano Molinari hit a great ball. When Bernardo Mancinelli fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rotta's protests and gave Bernardo Mancinelli a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Rotta got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Mancinelli. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Muto to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Damiano Molinari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pilastrello AFC's Carter Carota in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rotta's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Rotta's Bernardo Mancinelli got a free kick in the 54th minute. Domenico Guidone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Carota, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carter Carota in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Guidone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Carter Carota notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rotta's Domenico Guidone. Domenico Guidone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alessandro Muto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Guidone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Cardillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Anselmo Eleuteri made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Alfredo Anelli sent off a good shot on target. Carter Carota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Domenico Guidone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Guidone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Carota in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pilastrello AFC had won after a very even match.
