After having played for 19 minutes, Aurelio Bernardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cercola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Bernardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Diego Azzolina fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lume's protests and gave Diego Azzolina a yellow card for diving instead. Diego Azzolina hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Enzo Piccone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Salerno, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lume's supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Salerno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Piccone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
