In the 25th match minute, Calafuria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Lucente to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo De Bonis in the 26th minute of play forced Calafuria AFC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Cantagallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Comunardo De Bonis sped through Calafuria AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristoforo Cantagallo. Lume's Domenico Alfieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Bottega in the 34th minute of play. Ciccio Allemandi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Domenico Alfieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafuria AFC. Felice Salerno in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristoforo Cantagallo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 42nd minute, Lume's Comunardo De Bonis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristoforo Cantagallo. Cristoforo Cantagallo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Comunardo De Bonis made a kick off. When Comunardo De Bonis came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Lume fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo De Bonis couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Arrigo Polito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ettore Canzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Domenico Alfieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Ennio Bottega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Alfieri. Lume's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ennio Bottega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cristoforo Cantagallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Salerno in the 69th minute of play. Calafuria AFC's Cristoforo Cantagallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Salerno in the 72nd minute of play. Ennio Bottega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Domenico Alfieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvise Moreschi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Domenico Alfieri made a huge save. Ennio Bottega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domenico Alfieri having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Calafuria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Salerno came free, but Cristoforo Cantagallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo De Bonis in the 84th minute of play forced Calafuria AFC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Cantagallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felice Salerno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Calafuria AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ettore Canzano hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Diego Di Donato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Cantagallo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Calafuria AFC's Ennio Bottega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Lume's Domenico Alfieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Lume from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
