After recieving a nice pass, Calafuria AFC's Cosimo Cavaliere tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ennio Bottega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Piccone having to make a save. If Ennio Bottega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Cercola's goalkeeper Enzo Piccone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ennio Bottega. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Canzano in the 13th minute of play forced Cercola's goalkeeper Enzo Piccone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Lucchetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cristoforo Cantagallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Lucente charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Lucente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Alberto Lucente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Aurelio Bernardi made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Cantagallo. Calafuria AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alberto Lucente was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Cercola booed when Calafuria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Lucente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Aurelio Bernardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Ennio Bottega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enzo Piccone. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 44th minute, Aurelio Bernardi made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Cantagallo. Calafuria AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ennio Bottega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calafuria AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ennio Bottega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Piccone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ettore Canzano struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Enzo Piccone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafuria AFC. After a rather tough play, Cercola's Ermanno Scarcella got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dave Bucciarelli's late challenge caught a Cercola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Bucciarelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Dave Bucciarelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cercola booed when Calafuria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Canzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristoforo Cantagallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Bernardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Calafuria AFC's Cristoforo Cantagallo got control of the ball when Alex Lucchetta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristoforo Cantagallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Bernardi in the 65th minute of the match. Alex Lucchetta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Cristoforo Cantagallo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cercola's Edoardo Petrocchi got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cosimo Cavaliere, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Cercola's Elia Caiola got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ettore Canzano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cercola's Aurelio Bernardi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristoforo Cantagallo. That made the score 1-3 after 88 minutes of play. When Ennio Bottega fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calafuria AFC's protests and gave Ennio Bottega a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Calafuria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Bottega to maneuver through the defense. The Calafuria AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cercola's performance. The match ended with a win for Cercola.
