When Bruno Palleschi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fabbrerie's protests and gave Bruno Palleschi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rocca booed when Fabbrerie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Palleschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabbrerie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Dario Ritacco scored to the left of an out of position Eraldo Moretta, making the score, 1-0. Eraldo Moretta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bianco Fortuna in the 18th minute. Dario Ritacco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Moretta having to interfere. If Bianco Fortuna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabbrerie's Eraldo Moretta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Ritacco in the 25th minute of play. Christian Di Maio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Ciaccia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Felice Ciaccia came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Fabbrerie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felice Ciaccia couldn't finish the play. If Arrigo Santalucia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Fortuna took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Moretta. Eraldo Moretta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Eraldo Moretta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bianco Fortuna in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Bianco Fortuna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Felice Ciaccia made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bernardo Caligaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Ritacco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Moretta having to interfere. If Dario Ritacco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Palleschi was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd match minute, Fabbrerie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Palleschi to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Bianco Fortuna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Eraldo Moretta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fulvio Molinario kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Fulvio Molinario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Corrado Andreassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rocca getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ciro Aversa hit a great ball. Eraldo Moretta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Fortuna in the 87th minute of play. Dave Di Francesco really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rocca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fabbrerie had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
