Biagio Lorefice who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Camillo Proia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ermanno Bolognini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Proia having to interfere. Ermanno Bolognini kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of AS RomaTanks booed when Roncadella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Giampietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Biagio Lorefice made a precise shot to the right of Camillo Proia. Roncadella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Biagio Lorefice came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camillo Proia could save by the left post. Roncadella's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Biagio Lorefice 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Ermanno Bolognini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Carmine Mazzola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Piattelli struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fabiano Scacchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncadella. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Fantini to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Ercole Di Biagio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camillo Proia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ermanno Bolognini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Camillo Proia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Roncadella getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alvaro Piccini hit a great ball. Fabiano Scacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Fantini in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Biagio Lorefice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS RomaTanks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Lorefice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Biagio Lorefice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Biagio Lorefice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Proia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristoforo Cieri during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristoforo Cieri kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Fantini in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Scacchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermanno Bolognini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fabiano Scacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AS RomaTanks fully deserved thier win.
