Fabiano Scacchi made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Bruno Arcari sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th match minute, AS RomaTanks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Lorefice to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Biscotti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Cerasolo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 12 played minutes Cerasolo got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Scibilia. After a rather tough play, AS RomaTanks's Fulvio Balboni got a free kick in the 14th minute. Flavio Negri came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by AS RomaTanks's Ermanno Bolognini. But to his dismay, Ermanno Bolognini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristiano Biscotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Scacchi having to interfere. Cristiano Biscotti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Fabiano Scacchi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Biagio Lorefice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cerasolo's Bianco Carbonaro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Cristiano Biscotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fabiano Scacchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cerasolo booed when AS RomaTanks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Bolognini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind AS RomaTanks's goalkeeper Fabiano Scacchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ermanno Bolognini managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS RomaTanks's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Bolognini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cerasolo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AS RomaTanks were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, AS RomaTanks's Dave Pantani got a free kick in the 56th minute. Fabiano Scacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Biscotti in the 58th minute of the match. Biagio Lorefice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Flavio Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Biagio Lorefice in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Cristiano Biscotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Scacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Scacchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Carbonaro in the 72nd minute of play. Fabiano Scacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Arcari in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Cristiano Biscotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Scacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Cristiano Biscotti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerasolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AS RomaTanks the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cerasolo's Cristiano Biscotti got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Biscotti in the 80th minute of play forced AS RomaTanks's goalkeeper Fabiano Scacchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Pantani kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cerasolo's Cristiano Biscotti got a free kick in the 88th minute. AS RomaTanks played a much better game than Cerasolo and deserved their victory. The Cerasolo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
