Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Castel Bolognese's Alfredo Forlani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Christian Marinacci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Castel Bolognese's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Cavanna came free, but Flavio Delle Donne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Lupi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a rather tough play, Secondigliano's Franco Del Vecchio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Christian Marinacci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Carter Lupi made a huge save. Castel Bolognese's Christian Marinacci got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Cavanna in the 30th minute of play forced Castel Bolognese's goalkeeper Flavio Delle Donne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Secondigliano booed when Castel Bolognese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Sciarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Enrico Giacomozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carter Lupi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrico Giacomozzi in the 38th minute. Secondigliano's Dario Cavanna got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Cavanna made a kick off. In the 54th minute Christian Marinacci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Lupi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvise Franceschini hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Cristiano Bianchini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Delle Donne having to interfere. Dario Valeriani hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Alberto Alati sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Castel Bolognese's Flavio Delle Donne didn't even have to move. Carter Lupi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Marinacci in the 65th minute of play. Dario Cavanna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Flavio Delle Donne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dario Cavanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Christian Marinacci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castel Bolognese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Marinacci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Alvise Franceschini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christian Marinacci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Bianchini got free with Flavio Delle Donne in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Castel Bolognese's Flavio Delle Donne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Cavanna in the 86th minute of play. Dario Cavanna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Delle Donne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Secondigliano's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Forlani came free, but Carter Lupi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dario Cavanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Castel Bolognese's Christian Marinacci in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Secondigliano's goalie prevented a goal. Carter Lupi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Marinacci, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
