The referee ignored Poggio Superiore FC's protests and gave Aurelio Scatena a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ZEMANLANDIA F.C. booed when Poggio Superiore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Scatena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Franco Di Mario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Pala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZEMANLANDIA F.C.'s goalkeeper Cosimo Olivieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felice De Simone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Pala having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Poggio Superiore FC's Bianco Di Bernardo got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Poggio Superiore FC's zone, Franco Di Mario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Pala came out of the goal and Franco Di Mario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Franco Di Mario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Pala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Felice De Simone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZEMANLANDIA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 34 played minutes Poggio Superiore FC got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Colonna. Felice De Simone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Pala having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Christian Albertini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosimo Olivieri. The goal made the score 2-2. Angelo Silvi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cosimo Olivieri made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Flavio Pellegrini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Eraldo Pala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to ZEMANLANDIA F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eraldo Bellone hit a great ball. ZEMANLANDIA F.C.'s Cosimo Olivieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Silvi in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of ZEMANLANDIA F.C. booed when Poggio Superiore FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Di Nucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Poggio Superiore FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ZEMANLANDIA F.C..
