In the 10th minute, Amedeo Travaglini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match Anfilogino Costantino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amedeo Di Sipio skillfully saved the ball. After 43 played minutes FC AMBROSIANA got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Arioli. 48 minutes into the match, Villa Oneto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciccio Tacconelli came free, but Ettore Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC AMBROSIANA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Oneto FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ciccio Tacconelli made the kick off in the second half. If Amedeo Travaglini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea De Francesco got free with Amedeo Di Sipio in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Edoardo Arioli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea De Francescos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Amedeo Di Sipio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Emiliano Pozzo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC AMBROSIANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Pozzo couldn't finish the play.
